Classic Sheet Metal has once again invited their customers and suppliers to be involved in their Early Supplier Involvement Symposium (E.S.I.) to help promote communication and improve procurement times in the rapidly changing manufacturing industry of sheet metal fabrication. By inviting both buyers and engineers to view our facility, meet with our suppliers, and attend seminars dealing with current manufacturing issues, our E.S.I. Symposium help establish a communal understanding between customers, manufacturers, and secondary suppliers.

This year’s symposium offered attendees the unique opportunity for to view real-time production
techniques from pre-production design consulting and initial CAD Layouts, to C.N.C. Programming, set-up, and first piece inspection, through a “hands-on” tour of the production process complete with individual production samples allowing direct observations of many of our key manufacturing processes such as Laser Cutting, Metal Stamping, Metal Forming, Welding and Assembly practices, to presentations of secondary operations such as Hardware insertion, Plating, and Painting by representatives of Classic’s suppliers. Each step of the way allowing
time for attendees to question those with direct knowledge of their specific field and industry. Classic Sheet Metal’s E.S.I. symposium offers a quick, yet knowledgeable one stop window into the sheet metal manufacturing and assembly industry.

Though representatives of CSM are always happy to invite prospective or current companies on a tour oftheir facility, only during these symposiums are all of the industries suppliers and secondary operation providers present for question and answer sessions to help outside engineers and buyers learn techniques for future design and costing endeavourers.
