ISO 9001:2000 is an international standardization of the processes and procedures used by the
management structure engaged in the manufacturing field. Only companies registered with an accreditation body, which monitors companies frequently, can claim ISO certification. By following an international standard, ISO has created a level manufacturing field to which all ISO 9001:2000 certified Quality Management Systems can be monitored and engage in productive communication, proper data retention, and prudent containment actions.
